Pieces will be judged in by the following criteria: composition, originality, and artistic.

:

November 7,10, 20072008 Deadline for receipt of all artwork.
November 14,18, 20072008 Exhibition Opens. Awards announced
December 29,31, 20072008 Last day of exhibition
January 11,15, 20082009 All artwork will be sent back or needs to be picked up.

Eligibility
:

*The following standard for miniature works will be applied: representation of the subject must not exceed
1/6 the actual size. This applies to all media.
Sculpture must not exceed 216 cubic inches (6x6x6).
Mats & frames should be in proportion to the work.
Image size for painting must not exceed 5" x 7".
Open to any and all artists. All work must be original. Copies, reproductions or work completed under in­struction is not eligible.
Artists may submit up to five (5) works in any combi­nation of the following categories: *watercolor *oil *acrylic *pastel *drawing *sculpture *mixed me­dia

This is not a Juried Show.

Entry Preparation
:

Each work must have the proper entry label attached.
Items intended for wall display must be framed and
ready for hanging.

Artist Bio:

Please include a Bio of yourself and your work with
all you contact information on the document; name,
address, phone and email.

Receiving:

Ship PREPAID, in a reusable container.

Hand delivered entries may be brought to the Center from 8 am to 4 pm Tuesday through Friday.

Returning
:

Hand deliveries must be picked up by Tuesday,
January 11,15, 2008.2009. If you are mailing your entries,
please include adequate return postage and insurance
(if needed). Stamps are not accepted. If funds are insufficient for return postage, we will contact you for the money before we ship the art. Please make check or money order to the MonDak Heritage Center. En­tries will be returned & cash prizes awarded 10-24 days after the show closes. Please mark your form if you wish to have insurance on your package on the return shipment and include enough funds to cover it.

Sales:

A 15% commission will be retained on all art sales. The sale price indicated on the entry form should in­clude the commission. Items that are sold will remain a part of the exhibition until its conclusion. Artist may
designate their works "Not For Sale" if they so
choose. Please mark that on the entry form and enter
the insurance value. All works must remain in the
show until the show closes. Checks for the art sold
will be sent within 30 days of show ending.

Liability:

All reasonable care will be given to objects in the custody of MonDak Heritage Center. Works are
insured upon receipt at the Center and until they are taken back to the Post Office, to return to you. The
Heritage Center will not assume responsibility for loss or damage in shipment of the submitted work. The Center is a secure alarmed facility that remains locked during non-business hours. Each work is carefully inspected during unpacking. Damages incurred during shipping will be reported to the entrant immediately so you may file a claim. It is understood that the sending
of works to the exhibition is an agreement on the part of the sender to all the conditions set forth in these
rules and guidelines.
