All work will be hung, but work not fitting the rules will not be eligible for awards. Notice of awards will be sent to the winners with their checks following the reception. Ribbons will be returned with the miniatures at the close of the show.
RULES AND SIZESThe 1/6 rule applies. All painting and drawing styles are welcome. No giclees or prints except hand pulled prints, s/n. No sculptures or photography. Maximum size of painting is 25 sq inches. Maximum size of frame to be 50 square inches. No plastic frames or easel backs allowed. No saw tooth hangers, use wire. See prospectus for more detail.
SIZE OF SHOWFirst year we had 40+, the second year we had 60+
RETURN OF ARTWORKAll work will be packaged on the last day of the show and be mailed the first week of August.
DISPLAY AREAThe work is hung on the walls. There are no cases available for displaying items that cannot be hung on the walls. The area is inside the Museum and is closely watched by the volunteers.
SALESAll efforts will be made to sell, though we have had minimal success on sales in the past. Commission is 30% (20% for members of the HAG)
