SHOW: Carlisle Arts Learning Center 2007 Juried National Exhibit

DATE: May 30 - July 13

SITE: CALC, 19 S. Hanover Street, Carlisle PA 17013

COST: Entry fee is $40 for 1-3 pieces, and this includes return delivery. If the pieces will be picked up by the artist (not shipped), the entry fee is $30.

AWARDS: Awards will be given. Judge TBA

RECEPTION: There will be a collector's viewing starting at 4pm on June 2. The reception will be at 6:30 - 8pm the same evening.

JURYING PROCESS: The work will be juried for quality, and adherence to
the rules.

RULES: Please, use wire, not sawtooth hangers. Use particular care in the matting (if needed) and framing of the work, to ensure a quality presentation.

SIZE RESTRICTIONS OF IMAGES: The size limit is 12", *including frame*, in any direction. 3D work must not exceed 12" including the base.

JUDGING: We do not have information on the judge at this time. Works will be judged for quality, composition, and skill. There will not be separate categories.

SIZE OF SHOW: We expect at least 100 pieces.

UNIQUENESS OF THE SHOW: There is not an image size restriction. However, since this is a small works exhibit, the spirit of miniaturism is highly encouraged.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE: We will provide an email (if address is given) that the piece(s) have been received.

RETURN OF WORK: Returned in the same packaging, via the US Postal Service, with up to $200 insurance.

SALES: We highly encourage sales, and will be advertising heavily. The commission fee is 30%

DISPLAY OF WORKS: For the tiny pieces, we have large panels that they will be displayed on. For the larger works, they will be hung separately. We have many pedestals for the 3D works.

ADVICE OF PARTICIPANT IN THIS SHOW: Just to please send us your best work! If there is an unusual technique, or material, feel free to include information about this with your work; it will be made available to the public.
